Got lovely stew chucked in me slow cooker for 2moro tea, yummy scrummy do luv them done in me slow cooker.

Made this card for me niece i no Ronnie is a he, but he is Ronetta on this card! lol. Image available from Crafty Emmas Store, coloured with promarkers, papers are from Raspberry Road, travel log set, bead letters from stash, sentiment done on comp, glossy accents added to lights.

I have made this card for one of me ressies, she is a fabulous painter, so i thought i would dig out me twinks and have a little play, must use them more often i do like em.

Christmas Card

hope you all fit n well, those poorly wish you better soon, i have had a manic time since sat at work, up all nite mon with ressie so still bit knackered.
I have joined a lovely group of ladies at The Christmas Club, its not a challenge blog just a group of ladies who want to have enough Christmas cards made by the end of the year!!! So when i was asked if i would like to join i said yes please, no pressure to make any so thats nice as im struggling at the mo. Each girlie takes it in turn to set the challenge.
This week Keryn has asked us to make a thin card, no thicker than 5mm, so doesnt cost a fortune to post!!
Well i thought digi straight away, this is a new set from Rasberry Road called Winter Beauty, i do luv there papers, i have added the tree, comes, tag & sparrow, and some glamour dust on around the tree, matted onto black card, thats it.

E-Craft Machine

hope you all fit n well, those poorly wish you better soon, im not coughing quite as much 2day.

Did any of you buy the E-Craft machine from Create & Craft just b4 Christmas, from Crafters Companion???

Well i treated meself to it but didnt have much time to play with it.

Anyways i was playing 2day and the Fundamentals card that came with it is broke at the bottom so doesnt work!

Foned Create & Craft they said i can send it all back or get part refund, i said i will have part refund, guess how much???

£8.00!!!! i said it will cost me £39.99 to buy it new! was told thats it or send it all back, well wasn't gona cut me nose of to spite me face!

Have to say QVC customer service is much better, i have found them over generous on the odd time i have foned them, just dont like all the pp on there! lol.

Ok moan over i was not a happy bunny when i came of the fone!

Only just got me net back on been of all day, so of to catch up now, have good eve, luv sue,xx

For the first time in ages i felt the urge to craft 2day not had that urge for a couple of months!

One of me ressies asked me to do a card for her daughter, she does archery & will be 50, well i was totally stumped i didnt have a clue what to do!

Found this image with google n started from there really, the cut outs are all done with me new eclipse machine, must say i do like it, still bit hit n miss with the cuttin but gettin there, papers are digi, can't remember the name! ops.scanned the piccie in & printed it smaller, ressie was well chuffed with it, so was i! lol

Ok i have done two Less Is More cards n not happy with either the idea, or colour or layout just didnt do it for me, but always happy to share me duff cards! lol

Had a friend round last nite for tea, he lost his wife the week we went on holiday, feel so sad for him, he is a lovely fella his wife was great to, why do the good ones go eh??

Managed to find time for a little play, i only seem to be doing CAS at the mo!! just not enough hours in the day of late.

My birdie has settled down really well, doesnt screech half as much only when he knows its bedtime!! ickle bu..er, lovely with though! lol.

As time is short at the mo, birdies taken more than i thought, he is getting better n not screechin so much, such a snuggle bunny, plus i can't get me internet to work in the office i used to play catch up at work!!! anyways i have made a few cards usin cd's have loads of them n not used them in ages, Mandi gave me this one, its brill, all boozy peeps, lol

I have had a very hectic week, things going on every day, had two funerals at work on fri, did a halloween party last nite, did couple hours of iroin this morn, got pics printed for comp, then brother & family came round. Not managed to get in me craftroom at all.

Have just tried to catch up with most of you, and do me DT comments, thats all i seem to be sayin of late!! i am sorry.

Home in the morn i have a 50 year old cockatoo commin!!! mmm not sure how things will go will have to see, got very attached to this little one.

Also the friends we went away with fred had a mini stroke last week, pleased to say he came home yest and is doin well, good job it didnt happen while we were away. So big sighs all round here today.

i hope i have caught up with you all 2nite, i am sorry for being missin in action,

work has been stoopid since i got back from my week away, then getin my feathered friend threw me, my little house guest have been moved around n cleaned 2day, has been out on us both, does not do veggies!! luvs raspberries but do they bloody stain ya paint! No more of them! lol

A gorgeous birdie though i luvs him, need bigger house so i can have a birdie room!!!

I wont be gettin much craftin in now, we go on 2 weeks safari on fri, have gr niece commin to birdie sit! lol

First Birdy Guest Has Arrived

Hi all

well my first Birdline birdy guest arrived this afternoon, he will be with me for about 6 weeks, he is a Kakariki Parrot, yes i had to look him up. He is very sweet sat munching on some fruit, has come up to us when we talk to him, let us tickle his tum, no noise as yet but still all very new to him, am told he can be noisy!! Lovely to have a birdie back in the house. Leaving him to settle in the dinnin room, goin to move the lounge around on sat so he will come in here then.

Not much going on here, was away weekend so no crafting, did manage to get me Less Is More card done yest, just see it on the side there, found these stencils duno why i bought them but have left them out to look at!! lol

This is me brainwave, when we were kids me mum had a wooden maiden better made than this mind, we use to luv to play tents n boats!!!

Anyway i thought it would make a brill play gym for me parrot when i get him after me hols, just gota make sure its secure, then attach some of his toys in the box, good eh?

Stamped the flutterby onto the card, then use me puch to punch two out, embossed them, added ink onto the embossin folder, all from SU, available from Mandi.

Well i have a tidy desk, had good clean on sunday, then spent all day craftin, first time in ages got bout 6 Dt cards done so well chuffed.
The card with me parrot, i was playing to see if they would work as notelettes or bday cards to sell for the Birdline Charity when they go to fetes, what ya think?? did some with different sayings on?
Got lots boxes of toys n things to sort out for me birdie when i get him!! hopin the cage will come 2day.

Ok onto me card for Less Is More, this simple card took me lots of attempts, n i don't like it! lol, but i will still show ya. Stamped the squares with me distress ink pad, then stamped the flower on top, added bit colour to the leaves n some glamour dust to middle.

hope you all fit n well, those poorly wish you better soon, sorry i didnt get round to see you yesterday i wasnt feelin to good, nasty pain in me head, i hope its ok 2day as we are up at 5.30 heading of to Devon, meet some girlies & birdies!!

Its time for another CES challenge, thank you to all who joined in last week fabulous creations.
This week we would like to to use two papers from different companies.
My papers are Basic Grey & a red one!!(sorry dont feel up to going to look) image coloured with copics, pearls in corner, all from Crafty Emmas Store.

yea i passed me home check, YIPPEEEEEEEEEE

i am now a safe house for birdies, i can't wait to get my first visitor, wont be till after me holiday now, had to have jab this morn so sore arm 2nite!!

Anyways no matter i passed, oh im so excited i could burst.

Please take a look at the great work they do at Birdline, read the stories they have been written so well, i would luv to take them all home! lol.

Hi all

hope you all fit n well, those poorly wish you better soon, tis time for another worldly mooch around the desks, with WOYWW, pop over to Julias Stamping Ground to start ya mooch.

I have done no crafting since i got home, im afraid all was dumped in me craftroom n its still there!!

Had busy week since i got back, im at the nurse this morn to get me prescription for me malaria pills, then i have a lady comin at lunch time to check me out, to see if i am ok to be a safe house for parrots n birdies waiting to be re homed, so fingers crossed pleased!

The pile of cards is what i made while away.

Card & Rant

Hi all

hope you all fit n well, those poorly wish you better soon.

One of me ressies called a man out from comet, the knob didnt work on her cooker, while i was away new one came, Bert (maintainer) stuck it on.

I found out she paid £60 call out fee, ok get that! but was charged £65.00 for a cooker knob!!!!!

I foned n was told its a fixed price repair! they didnt fix it just sent the part! then i was told, it covers upto £150 insurance on goods! i said it was a £15.00 bloody knob! Bloomin fumin!

Rant over, have not finished with this yet!
